Music

Hi guys HMSkillian here I will be talking about two things about music the first thing I will be telling you about an instrument called the ukulele. The ukulele is a four-stringed musical instrument made from wood that resembles a small classical guitar. The ukulele is a member of the guitar family of instruments.

A ship named the Raven’s crag arrived in Honolulu on Aug 23rd 1879 from Madeira Portugal. On that ship was a man named Manuel Nunes came to Hawaii with his friends to work the sugar cane fields. However, he soon developed the ukulele based on a native Portuguese instrument called the  braguinha.

For the second part of my week seven Edu Blogs I will be talking about a music group called BTS they’re from North Korea and they are the most popular group in Korea and maybe even in the USA. There group makes Kpop songs and it has a mixture of some english language, and Korean language.

About My School

Hello everyone today ill be talking about my school as Edu Blog week. I will be describing what my school looks like and I’ll also give you guys a opinion about my school. My school is small compared to a lot of schools like Kamehameha, punahou, Hilo Intermediate, and Kalanianaole Elementary. It’s not that hard getting to your classes and it’s easy to walk around the whole campus. There are three buildings one is for the middle schoolers one for the elementary students, and the last building has our pre schoolers, kindergarteners, technology, art, and Japanese. There’s also a gym, dojos, a pool, and a music room. That’s what my school looks like.

My opinion about my school is that it’s a really good school but it is pretty hard. You get to meet a lot of people and get to make lots of new friends. The teachers are really nice but sometimes they can be pretty strict. All the teachers there treat every one equally there are no favorites. The kids at my school are really nice and very friendly, they like to make jokes and tell each other MEMES.

Trimester 2 partfolio

Hms killian here, and today I’m going to be talking about what I did in trimester 2. I will be talking about something that I’m proud of in math, La, science, social studies, and art. Know let’s get started.

One thing that I have done in math, is the math magazines because it’s not only funny it’s also pretty cool. You get to know things that are happening around the world and you get to know new things. I think it’s awesome that you get to know that math is in your everyday life. In La I’m glad about my lesson 15 wordly wise drawing. I like it because my topic was trace and I drew a pretty cute dog that’s following footsteps.  The sentence I wrote was, the dog traced his owners footsteps to his owner.

In science i’m proud of my Marble run #1 it’s because I made a roller coaster with copper, tape, and a cardboard. It was fun because you got to pair up with a partner and see there ideas. It was very interesting because you had to face a lot of challenges. I have learned about kinetic and potential energy.

In social studies the best thing that I have done on trimester 2, was my slideshow on the ancient Chinese martial arts Kung Fu. I had learned about who made it, when was it made, what it was made for, and why it was made. The last thing I’m going to talk about is my charmander grid art, it’s ok but it looks nice to me, I think it’s a really good because I try my best and sometimes I just sketch and see what I get.

Weekly post Japan

Hey guys it’s me killian, and today I’m going to talk about one of my favorite places to go. One of my favorite places to go is Tokyo Japan, and one of the reasons why I like to go there is  because the of how clean the place is and how you barely find trash on the ground, but if you do that could be from someone in the USA. Anyway like I was saying, they even have a smoking area so that means you won’t be walking in there smoke.

Another thing about Tokyo Japan I’m going to talk about is probably there food. They have so much ramen places and sushi places but if you don’t like sushi, or Ramen I know something that you might like, ICCEE CRRRRREEEM!. I mean every one likes ice cream unless you’re allergic to dairy, or you only eat vegetables, or you only eat steak, but other than that I’m pretty sure you like ice cream.

And the last and final thing I think you might like from Japan is there stores, and food areas for some reason where ever you go there is bound to be a food place, and a store. That’s all I hope you liked my post and by.
